Downtime
When I am hanging out at home, I like to wear comfortable clothing. I have been wanting to make the lounge pants out of In Stitches by Amy Butler for awhile now. I saw a photo on Flickr of someone's capri version and I thought, "That's it! That's what I need." So, I whipped out (and I use that term loosely. Very loosely) a pair of capris for myself AND a pair of shorts for Chauntel (she will need to show you, as I didn't take a photo of them) in two weekend sittings. For never having made anything wearable in my life, they turned out pretty decent!

Maybe with my tan legs I will get one of the kids to get a picture of me in them! They are fantastic! Thank you!
Those are so cute! You are really making me want to drop the hooks for a little while and hit the sewing machine. Of course, I will have to dig it out of the piles that have accumulated on my sewing table to do so. ;-)
